Shipping & Returns

Shipping Information

All orders are processed & dispatched within one business day, if possible. All non-custom products are shipped within 4-7 business days (excluding weekends) from the date of receipt of your order.

Please allow 7-10 days from the order day for delivery of your order. Please note that some items maybe shipped directly from the manufacturer’s warehouse or fulfillment centers.

Any item ordered which is out of stock, but which we expect to be back in stock, will be billed upon receipt of order. Your order will then be processed & given high priority status.

 Acceptance of Order Policy

Receipt of an electronic order and/or issuance of an order number does not constitute the acceptance of an order by Safe-Card ID. All orders received are subject to verification of customer information prior to acceptance of order. We reserve the right to do or not to do business with any individual or entity. We do not accept credit card orders billed to institutions outside the United States. 

Customer Information

Please make sure we have complete and correct shipping address information, including your business name, building numbers & suite names. We ask that you check all your order details & shipping information before submitting your final order. Any items left at the door of a business or residence is the responsibility of the customer to ensure receipt.

If your shipping information is incorrect you will be charged an additional fee for re-delivery for address correction. This fee will be a minimum of $15.

Changes to the shipping address after the order has been processed may incur additional handling & additional delay in delivery. We are not responsible for any extra charges or delays as a result of changes made by the customer.

Sales Tax Policy

We are required by the State of North Carolina to collect state and local taxes for orders shipping to an address located in North Carolina.  At this time, we do not collect and remit state and local sales tax for products shipping to any other state or for products shipping outside of the United States.  Depending on your local and state laws, products received from Safe-Card ID may be taxable.  Any customer receiving goods outside the state of North Caolina is responsible for reporting and paying any state and local sales or use tax due in their locality.  Please check with your local taxing authority prior to purchase regarding your liabilities.

Returns


Products returned are subject to a restocking fee of 20%.

Returns are accepted for most items for a refund of the item's price less applicable restock fees.

  • Product must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
  • Product must be unopened, unused and in factory sealed packaging. All items and documentation included in a product must be included in the return.
  • Software can not be returned for any reason.  Double check your requirements prior to purchase or contact us at 888-485-4696.
  • Open media such as cards, ribbons and cleaning kits can not be returned.
  • Custom items, including HID cards, can not be returned for any reason.
  • All returned items must include an RMA number or product received will not be refunded.


Customers are responsible for all shipping costs incurred in the return of any items. Shipping fees are not refundable for any items returned.

Returned Check Policy

Invoices are immediately due and payable for any check that is returned and unable to be deposited into Safe-Card ID's account.  Fees are incurred internally from banking institutions for bounced checks. For this reason, an additional charge of $35.00 will be charged to any account incurring a returned check.  

Defective Merchandise

If you receive a defective, or damaged product, contact your sales representative for assistance with replacement.

Return Procedures:

  • Contact your sales representative within 30 days of product receipt for an RMA number. Returned product must be received at Safe-Card within 15 days of an RMA.  A duplicate RMA number can not be provided.
  • Return packaging must include a RMA number clearly provided on a seperate piece of letterhead enclosed with your return product.  No markings are to be made on any original packaging.
  • Please choose a shipping carrier such as UPS or FedEx, that provides insurance and tracking information for your product.  We can not be responsible for product that does not arrive at Safe-Card or product that is damaged in transit.
  • All original packaging, including instructions, CDs, cables, power supplies, cords and etc., must be returned undamaged. Product must be received as new , unused and in factory sealed packaging.
  • After receipt and inspection by our returns, appropriate credit will be provided normally in the method original payment was received.
